Do not compare a material-only paver price with a fully installed concrete bid—or vice versa.

A straightforward concrete patio on stable ground with easy access may land near the lower end of its range. Demolition, restricted access, grading, drainage work, decorative finishes, or a small project with high mobilization costs can move it toward or beyond the upper end.

The same principle applies to pavers.
